Herb Kebabs and Mint Tzatziki

4 portions

1 1/2 dl Textured Fava Bean Mix
1 dl cream, milk or water
1 onion
1 tablespoon oil
  pinch of salt and crushed black pepper
1 egg
250 g minced meat
100 g feta cheese
4 tablespoons shredded herbs, e.g. basil, mint, leaf parsley


Mint tzatziki
1/2 cucumber
2 dl Turkish or Greek yoghurt
1 garlic glove
3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  pinch of salt and crushed black pepper


Blend the fava bean mix and the liquid in a bowl. Peel and chop the onion and sauté for a while in oil. Add the onions into the bowl. Add spices, egg and minced meat. Add crumbled feta cheese and chopped herbs. Blend the ingredients until yoy get a smooth mixture. Shape the mixture into kebabs with wet hands . Fry with oil in a pan or for about 15 minutes in the oven, 225 °C.

Prepare the mint tzatziki:
Grate the cucumber and squeeze out most of the water with your hands. Add yoghurt, pressed garlic, chopped mint and spices and mix all together. Allow to set for a while before serving.
